ONLINE MEETING SPACES

Teachers use shared Meeting Spaces for interactive online experiences.  Live interaction, even over the Internet, is the best way to attend class.  The second best way to participate in the online classroom is to download audio/video tapes of interactive sessions.  Meeting spaces are great for interacting with students, or for team collaboration.

Web conferencing has extensions for mobile computing, so that students can attend from anywhere, at any time, on any Internet-compatible device.   Social media, gaming, and clubs can also connect in these meeting spaces.

Some Shared Spaces

It is not possible to include every shared meeting space tool on this site; new ones are created all the time, and the older ones have mergers. This means that the product might be the same, but offered from a different company.
Likewise,  the free educational tool market has been greatly expanded with free business tools.

In addition, some tools help you meet face-to-face, and others are used to trade documents.  Document sharing sites and content management systems are easier to manage than email for revision or commentary. When updates and communications are located in only one place, the volume of email attachments is greatly reduced.
