DOCUMENTATION
As a tech writer and editor, I developed user instruction, developer manuals, and training materials. Most of this content was proprietary and cannot be made available outside the client site; however, I was a Programming Writer for MSDN. I included links to editions that are located on company Web sites.
The Software Development Life Cycle requires developers to verify that software contains no changes as a result of improvements, or if so, what the changes are for each ship cycle. Consequently, any documentation older than 2 years old has been revisited, if not re-written.

SharePoint Site Development and Interactive Use
![]()
These slides indicate how to align SharePoint Site architecture with Competency-Based Education for in-person classes that use online components. The Cascadia Community College students were given the opportunity to work individually and in teams during the course. This type of learning increases ownership of a student-centered learning experience, and still acknowledges the direction set by the educator.

Computer Language Keywords
![]()
So many computer languages resemble each other that it is sometimes easier to rely on the compiler, and the object browser, than to remember which is which. Without looking at any namespaces, this document demonstrates the correlation between the 32 original C keywords and some of the language's primary competitors.

System.Net.PeerToPeer Collaboration
I had the opportunity to author documentation for the Microsoft Windows Core Networking group. Peer-to-peer networking is what allows 2 client computers to connect to each other as though they were in a client-server relationship. Some time after its release, the peer-to-peer networking capabilities of Windows were rewritten to embrace multi-threading. It is a core technology that is used by desktops, Lync Server, Small Business Server, and other Windows platforms. Inspirational Design principles can be apparent at every stage of product development. I had the opportunity to edit a previous release of the Design Resources for Windows Phone. These four main principles can impact the look and feel of every application that is developed for the device.

SharePoint Products and Technologies Protocol Documents
I edited documentation for the Microsoft Fast Search system. A few years after its release from Microsoft, the technology was dispersed into the rest of the SharePoint Backend server. Some documents may still exist in the archives. This entry is a quick answer to a simple question. It reads partially like a blog and partially like a request for documentation.

WEEBLY.COM
In 2007, Weebly was named one of TIME Magazine’s 50 Best Websites of the year. It provides its customers with easy, intuitive ways to rapidly develop a web presence. Text is edited just like in a word processor, and its drag & drop website builder uses content elements to reduce the dependence on technology. Web designers add content to predefined Web sites, which allows them to concentrate efforts on other types of interactive sites.
Some presentations contain images that were included with purchased software.
