ONLINE SHARED MEETING SPACES
Teachers use shared Meeting Spaces for interactive online experiences. Live interaction, even over the Internet, is the best way to attend class. The second best way to participate in online classroom is to download audio/video tapes of interactive sessions.
Web conferencing has extensions for mobile computing, so that students can attend from anywhere, at any time, on any Internet-compatible device. Social media, gaming, and clubs can connect in the same types of meeting spaces.

When interactive audio (or time-delayed audio) is not an issue, then shared meeting spaces can be used to trade documents. Document sharing sites and content management systems are easier to manage than email for revision or commentary. When updates and communications are located in only one place, the volume of email attachments is greatly reduced.
